Your journey of 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes starts from your hotel/Riad. In the morning, your driver will lead you via Tizi-N-Tichka road of the high Atlas Mountains to Kasbah AiT Ben Hadou. Therefore, there will be several stops along this mountain pass.
Firstly, you visit the UNESCO Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. It is characterized as the best location for many Hollywood films. After that, you continue to Ouarzazat and visit Atlas Studios and Kasbah Taourirte. In the afternoon, you drive to Boumalne Dades through the Rose Valley. Finally, you arrive at your accommodation in the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight are there.
After breakfast, we will enjoy the beautiful views of the Dades Valley. Thus, you enjoy old and mud-brick villages and plantation nearby. After that, you make a stop to visit Todra Gorge. Its scenery is spectacular, and it is also a popular location for rock climbers. Once you have a short walk in this place, you keep driving to Touroug and Tinjdad and have free time for lunch in one of these villages. You then continue your journey to the desert of Merzouga with the magnificent dunes. There, you have a one-hour camel trekking trip to reach the camp. Finally, you watch the sunset at the top of the dunes and enjoy music after dinner.
You must wake up early morning today to watch the sunrise. Next, you return by camel to Merzouga and breakfast and shower in the hotel. Thereafter, you drive to Rissani and Erfoud via the Tafilalet oasis. This road will take you directly to the Ziz Valley. Secondly, you will make another stop in Midelt where you will have free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, you move to Cedar Forest and meet friendly monkeys. Besides, you visit the town of Ifrane that offers green spaces and architecture like Swiss ones. This why Ifrane also called the Switzerland of Morocco. Finally, we arrive in Fes, transferring to the hotel and end the 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes service.

TLDR; WE HAD A BLAST. Marrakesh to Fes! Day 1: we were picked up from our Riad by pur driver/tour guide ALLAL who helped us with pur bags and off we went. We zoomed through the countryside and up the Atlas Mountains. Anytime we wanted to stop for a picture, we stopped for a picture. ALLAL explained everything in english, and taught us the history and new words for our journey. We ended our night at Dades Valley. Day 2. Off to the desert we went. We arrived at the edge of the sand dune and 2 camel awaited us. We rode in for 1.5 hours, enjoyin the view and pictures. The night at the camp was amazing. It was quiet, and comfy and felt private. Food was amazing. Day 3. We enjoyed the tour of the surrounding desert and its towns. We wanted to ATV and knew it would cost extra. 50 USD for 1 hour. We spoke with ALLAL, and he set it up so we ATV back to our camp. We paid for 1 hour, we were driving for atleast 45 minutes more. Day 4. End of our adventure. We knew we had a long way to go, but ALLAL made sure we still stopped for pictures and to mKe sure we were comfortable! Recommendation: If i was to come back or if friends who are new to Morocco visit, I would encourage them to do the tour. It was easy, fun and relaxing!Verified

Although he didn’t give us too much details on the history of Ait Benhaddou, due to his English is not as good to explain the history, but he gave us many details about the Berber culture. He gave us enough time for all sites and asked for our opinion of some of the restaurant that we visited. We stayed in luxury tent in Sahara desert. Everything is great , especially the young camel guy “Mohammad”, he took beautiful pictures of our camel ride which made us good memory.
